This extraordinary photo pendant is a jewel created not only to be worn but also to be kept; preserve not only photos or other objects, but also meaning and symbols, thus transforming itself into a piece to be jealously preserved, a unique piece, fascinating but also to be discovered... What you see is an old English, and more precisely Victorian, photo frame, dating back therefore to a period between 1837 and 1901. Made with a perfect and contained oval shape and with 9K yellow gold foil on metal, its entire surface, both front and back, has been decorated: on the front we find an engraved cross, colored with splendid blue enamels; the passage of more than 100 years has affected this decoration, causing some points to come away, but it certainly has not affected the charm and overall beauty of the jewel. Turning it around we will find ourselves faced with another image, that of a belt with a buckle, represented here with a shape that is very reminiscent of a "Q": the belt, in the Victorian tradition, is the symbol of a binding love that unites two people , the giver and the wearer; the belt and buckle thus become the ideal representation to create the image of perfect harmony between two people who love each other, united by an eternal and binding feeling, a symbol of indissoluble loyalty and lasting memory. Opening it will reveal two compartments, ready to accommodate two photos, two flowers, two pieces of paper or any other small object you want to keep inside. EPOCH: Early 900s MATERIALS: 9K yellow gold foil on metal and blue enamel DIMENSIONS: Height with ring: 3.4 cm Width: 2 cm WEIGHT: 4.9 g CONDITIONS: Good condition with normal signs of wear commensurate with the age of the jewel . N.B.: In some places the enamels are damaged, signs due to time. The price takes into account the feature and is proportionate to it. For more information regarding the state of the jewel, read the next section "Additional information" ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The stone weights indicated in carats represent approximate weights, taken with the stones set, which can therefore vary slightly. Given the age and the fact that they are handcrafted jewels (and not in series), our antique and vintage jewels are often not perfect and may show normal signs of surface wear, small imperfections and/or scratches, possibly present both on the parts in gold than on stones. But this is exactly what makes each piece special and unique! NB: All our jewels are unique pieces, no one is alike! If you like it don't miss it ______________________________________
